Where this began
The days that felt most like our own were never the days we went furthest. They were the hostel bunk, the café corner, the weekend the hills did the deciding.
We noticed that what we wore on those days had something to do with it — not the label, but the feeling of it. Cloth that didn’t ask anything of us. A shape that gave the hour room.

Why clothing
An escape is not a place. So why make clothes?
Because clothing is the one part of your surroundings that goes everywhere you do. You can’t carry the café into the meeting or the hills into a Tuesday. You can carry what you were wearing when the world went quiet.
That is what each collection is: a specific kind of escape, given a shape you can put on. Not a costume for a place — the feeling of it, made wearable, so the distance comes with you.

What we hold to
We make few things, and we make them to stay. Every piece starts from a specific hour rather than a trend, so the silhouettes are restrained — proportion and cloth do the talking. We would rather you wore one thing for ten years than ten things for one.
And we try to make clothing that asks nothing of you. That is the whole standard.
Clothing should make space for you — to breathe, to return, to simply be.

How it’s made
The details that are easy to overlook, written down.
Cloth
Weights and finishes are listed on every piece.
Construction
Seams finished to be worn open. Every piece is checked by a person before it leaves.
Design
A handful of pieces a season, each beginning from a specific hour of a specific kind of day.
Production
Smaller quantities let us look at the piece itself rather than the pile.
